The National Trial Lawyers is a professional organization composed of elite trial lawyers from across the county who exemplify superior qualifications as civil plaintiff or criminal defense trial lawyers. For 2020, Ms. Tehrani was selected for the Top 40 Under 40 program in Maryland for criminal defense. For this coming class of 2021, she has extended her award to her personal injury practice and has officially joined the The National Trial Lawyers Association. Membership in the Top 40 Under 40 is extended solely to the select few of the most qualified attorneys in Maryland who demonstrate superior qualifications of leadership, reputation, influence, stature and public profile measured by objective and uniformly applied standards in compliance with state bar and national Rule 4-7. Award recipients demonstrate superior qualifications, trial results, and leadership as a young lawyer, and their selection is based on a thorough multi-phase objective process of peer nominations combined with third-party research.
