$125,000 Settlement: Automobile Accident By Lonnie Greenblatt on December 27, 2021

Greenblatt & Veliev, LLC, obtained a settlement of $125,000 for a client who was in an auto accident. The other driver rear-ended our client’s car. When she got out of the car to view the damage, she was then struck by another car. Our client suffered injuries to her hip and emotional trauma as a result of the auto accident.

There are maximum limits for every automobile insurance policy. For our clients, this means that there is only so much money that they can obtain for the injuries they suffer as a result of their auto accidents. It is usually very difficult to obtain the full limits of a driver’s insurance policy in settlement of a claim, because insurance companies do not want to pay the entirety of the money that is available for each policy.

In this particular case, Greenblatt & Veliev pursued the insurance companies of both at-fault drivers. One driver had a policy limit of $25,000, while the other driver had a policy limit on his automobile insurance coverage of $100,000.

Greenblatt and Veliev successfully obtained both at-fault drivers’ full insurance policy limits, which is known in the industry as “maxing out” the automobile policies. Greenblatt & Veliev also negotiated reductions of all of the client’s medical bills.
