Silver Spring, MD – Crash with Injuries Reported at New Hampshire Ave near Chalmers Rd
Silver Spring, MD (December 29, 2021) – The Montgomery County Police Department responded to a crash in Silver Spring that left an unknown number of people injured.
Preliminary investigations provided by the MCPD show that a collision between vehicles blocked the 10600 block of New Hampshire Avenue in front of the Hillandale near Chalmers Road.
The incident blocked several southbound lanes of the roadway, leaving only one lane to get by. Police and firefighters in Montgomery County secured the area as medics provided treatment to victims.
Emergency medical services transported victims in need of further care to local hospitals.
The Montgomery County Police Department is currently investigating the crash.
