Car Accidents in Maryland
In 2019, just over 50,000 people were hurt in crashes across the state of Maryland. These numbers equate to roughly 136 people daily being transported to area hospitals for the treatment of injuries. Although many people are cautious and alert while driving along roads in our state, we see many harmed as a result of drivers who are not as considerate of others. Some of the most commonly reported causes of crashes we see in our area include:- Driving over the speed limit
- Not yielding the right of way to other vehicles at intersections
- Running red lights or passing other traffic-control devices
- Driving while impaired by drugs or alcohol
- Falling asleep behind the wheel
