Wheaton-Glenmont, MD – Pedestrian Hurt in Crash on Georgia Ave near Blueridge Ave
Wheaton-Glenmont, MD (December 31, 2021) – A pedestrian crash in Wheaton-Glenmont left one person with injuries. Just before 8:40 p.m., the Montgomery County Police Department received a request for help at the site of a crash on Georgia Avenue.
According to the police, an unidentified pedestrian was struck by a car on Georgia Avenue near Blueridge Avenue during the evening hours.
The pedestrian suffered injuries in the crash and was treated at the scene. The MCPD closed off the roadway and secured the area with the assistance of firefighters.
The victim was transported by ambulance to a nearby hospital where they underwent emergency medical care.
Investigations to determine the cause of the crash are ongoing by the Montgomery County Police Department.
