Clarksburg, MD – Several Hurt in Accident on I-270 near Route 109 Exit
Clarksburg, MD (January 15, 2022) – On January 14, the Montgomery County Police Department responded to the scene of a motor vehicle wreck on Interstate 270.
Local news sources show that at around 2:15 p.m., multiple vehicles collided on the northbound side of Interstate 270 in the Clarksburg area. The crash resulted in some delays between exit 22 for Route 109 and. The Police closed off a stretch of the north side lanes of the highway between Route 121 and Route 129 as they removed the vehicles and debris from the lanes of travel.
Multiple victims were treated for injuries by responding emergency medical services. An unknown number of people injured in the crash were transported to nearby hospitals for care.
At this time, the incident is under investigation with the Montgomery County police.
