Germantown, MD – Clopper Rd & Metz Dr Blocked by Truck Crash with Injuries
Germantown, MD (January 22, 2022) – A truck crash in Germantown left one adult victim injured on Saturday morning, January 22. Just before 6:40 a.m., the Montgomery County Police Department and area firefighters were informed that a semi-truck tractor-trailer and a black sedan were involved in an auto wreck that blocked Clopper Road.
MCPD and firefighters blocked off the intersection where Clopper Road meets Metz Drive for more than an hour as they worked to clear the site of the crash.
One adult victim was trapped in their vehicle and had to be removed by firefighters. The victim was treated for injuries at the scene before being transported by ambulance to a local hospital for more care.
MCPD is investigating the crash.
