Pedestrian Accidents in Maryland
Every year, pedestrian accidents leave hundreds of people harmed in our state. Children who are involved in pedestrian accidents are likely to suffer severe injuries that demand medical care. Studies have found that children have a lower attention span and lower impulse control, which leaves them highly vulnerable to being involved in pedestrian crashes. Their small size makes it likely that they will suffer serious injuries. Some of the injuries we see in child-involved pedestrian crashes are:- Broken bones or severe compound fractures
- Traumatic brain injuries
- Back injuries
