Silver Spring, MD – MVA with Three Vehicles blocks Georgia Ave & Ellsworth Dr
Silver Spring, MD (January 31, 2022) – The Montgomery County Fire & Rescue Services received the request for help at the scene of a multi-vehicle wreck that blocked Georgia Avenue on Saturday evening.
MCFRS reports that three vehicles suffered moderate damage following a crash just after 8:30 p.m., on January 29. Firefighters and police officers secured the intersection of Georgia Avenue and Ellsworth Drive.
Crews removed debris from the roadway and worked to reopen the roadway to thru-traffic. Medical personnel from MCFRS Emergency Medical and Integrated Healthcare Services (EMIHS) provided care to victims who suffered injuries as a result of this accident. EMIHS then transported victims who required further assistance to nearby hospitals.
At this time, the Montgomery County Police Department is conducting an investigation surrounding the crash.
