Gaithersburg, MD – Three-Vehicle Bus Crash on Frederick Rd near Shady Grove Rd Leaves Two Injured
Gaithersburg, MD (February 4, 2022) – at around 5:20 p.m., on February 2, the Montgomery County Fire and Rescue Services responded to a motor vehicle crash on Frederick Road.
Reports from the MCFRS show that a Ride-on bus and two other vehicles were involved in a crash on Frederick Road at the intersection of Shady Grove Road during the evening hours.
The crash caused one of the passenger vehicles to roll over and land on its roof. One person was trapped inside. MCFRS firefighters extricated the trapped person. Two victims were treated at the scene and transported by EMIHS to local trauma centers for care.
The Montgomery County Police Department is investigating the crash.
