Burtonsville, MD – Two-Car Crash on Route 198 by Santini Rd Results in Injuries
Burtonsville, MD (February 7, 2022) – A crash in Burtonsville left three people hurt on Friday evening, February 4. At around 7:45 p.m., the Montgomery County Police Department and firefighters were called to help at a multi-vehicle accident on Route 198.
Reports from MCPD wh9o that a red sedan and a black sedan collided on Route 198. The crash caused the black sedan to go off the road and strike a telephone pole near Santini Road.
Three people suffered injuries in the wreck. One adult victim was hospitalized with serious traumatic injuries. Two others were transported to a local hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
At this time, the incident remains under investigation by the police in Montgomery County.
