Bethesda, MD – Crash on Old Georgetown Rd near Beech Ave Leave Five Injured
Bethesda, MD (February 15, 2022) – Just before 4:45 in the evening on February 12, the Montgomery County Police Department was notified that a major collision on Old Georgetown Road required assistance.
The MCPD arrived at the scene with firefighters from the Montgomery County Fire & Rescue Services and immediately closed off the intersection near Beech Avenue.
The police tended to victims in a white sedan and a dark-colored sedan that were both blocking the roadway.
Several people were provided medical care by the MCFRS EMS crews. Three people were transported to a local hospital with undisclosed injuries. Two others were admitted with critical injuries.
The crash remains under investigation by MCPD at this time.
