Pedestrian Accidents in Maryland
During the year 2020, more than 6,700 pedestrians suffered fatal injuries in crashes in the United States. This number increased by more than 4.7% from 2019. Nearly 150 of these fatal crashes occurred right here in Maryland. Regrettably, we see hundreds of people hospitalized with serious injuries that impact their lives long-term.Even though state lawmakers are proactive when it comes to ensuring pedestrian safety, we see many people harmed as a result of negligent drivers.
