Aspen Hill, MD – Multiple Victims Hurt in Crash on MD-97 near Hewitt Ave
Aspen Hill, MD (March 24, 2022) – A critical injury crash was reported in Aspen Hill (Montgomery County) on Wednesday afternoon. Several victims were left injured.
According to statements provided by the Montgomery County Police Department, a crash between an unknown number of vehicles prompted the response of several emergency rescue workers. The crash, which occurred on Maryland State Route 97 (Georgia Avenue) near Hewitt Avenue in Aspen Hill, caused significant delays in the area around 10 a.m., on March 23.
One person was left critically injured from the crash. Multiple victims were transported by Montgomery County Fire & Rescue Services EMS to local hospitals for emergency care.
The Montgomery County Police Department is conducting a crash investigation at this time.
