Gaithersburg, MD – Multi-Vehicle Wreck on I-270 Causes Injuries & Delays near Watkins Mill Rd
Gaithersburg, MD (March 31, 2022) – Several vehicles were involved in a crash on Wednesday evening, leaving at least one party with injuries. Just after 6:15 p.m., on March 29, the Montgomery County Police Department assisted the Montgomery County Fire & Rescue Services at a crash on Interstate 270.
Reports from the police department in Montgomery County show that several vehicles collided on the northbound side of Interstate 270. The auto wreck blocked multiple lanes near Watkins Mill Road.
MCFRS EMS provided care to victims who suffered injuries as a result of the accident before transporting them to local hospitals.
The Montgomery County police are investigating the crash to determine its cause.
