Takoma Park, MD – Accident with Injuries Reported on Carroll Ave near Philadelphia Ave
Takoma Park, MD (April 9, 2022) – The Montgomery County Police Department was dispatched to a motor vehicle crash that blocked multiple lanes of Carroll Avenue during the afternoon hours on April 8.
On Friday, the MCPD reported that an auto wreck occurred in the 7100 block of Carroll Avenue at around 12:36 p.m. The incident caused some lanes near the intersection of Philadelphia Avenue to be closed as the police cleared the area with the Montgomery County Fire & Rescue Services.
EMS with MCFRS provided medical care to victims who were hurt as a result of this collision. EMS then transported victims that were in need of further medical assistance to local hospitals.
At this time, officers from MCPD are investigating.
