Middletown, MD – One Injured after Car Crashes Through Salon on Old National Pike
Middletown, MD (April 15, 2022) – A motor vehicle crashed through the Trinity Salon & Spa on Thursday afternoon, leaving one woman seriously injured. The Maryland State Police reported that a woman pulled into the parking lot of the Trinity Salon & Spa, located in the 4300 block of Old National Pike. Rather than parking the vehicle, she drive forward. The vehicle crashed through the wall of the salon, striking a female occupant.
The woman who was struck was buried in debris. Firefighters from the Frederick County Division of Fire and Rescue Services responded to remove the woman. She was airlifted by the Maryland State Police aviation to a trauma center in the area for emergency medical care.
The crash is under investigation with the Maryland State Police. However, no charges are pending.
