Derwood, MD – Multi-Vehicle Wreck on Rick Rd near Redland Blvd Ends in Injuries
Derwood, MD (April 18, 2022) – A crash reported in Derwood left one person with injuries, according to the Montgomery County Police Department. At around 8:15 a.m., on April 17, the MCPD and Montgomery County Fire & Rescue Services were dispatched to a three-vehicle wreck on Rick Road.
The Montgomery County Police Department investigations show that three vehicles were involved in a crash that blocked multiple lanes on Rick Road near Redland Boulevard. The police closed off the roadway with the MCFRS as they removed vehicles and debris from the scene.
One person involved in the crash, identified as an adult victim, was hurt. The victim was transported by ambulance to a local hospital for medical assistance.
The crash is under investigation by the police in Montgomery County.
