Bethesda, MD – Car Crash at Old Georgetown Rd near Ryland Dr Leaves Pedestrian Injured
Bethesda, MD (April 21, 2022) – A crash in Bethesda left a pedestrian injured on Wednesday afternoon, April 20. Just before 2:45 p.m., the Montgomery County Police Department, Montgomery County Fire & Rescue Services, and EMS all responded to a major crash that blocked Old Georgetown Road.
Investigations provided by the MCPD show that an adult pedestrian was struck by an unidentified vehicle on the southbound side of Old Georgetown Road near Ryland Drive. The crash blocked several lanes of the road, leaving one lane of traffic to get by.
The victim suffered traumatic injuries and was transported by MCFRS EMS to an area hospital.
The police department in Montgomery County is investigating.
