Rockville, MD – Several Injured in Crash on I-270 near Montrose Rd
Rockville, MD (April 29, 2022) – Multiple people were injured following a crash with several vehicles in the Rockville area on Thursday evening, April 28.
At around 6:25 p.m., the Montgomery County Police Department, Montgomery County Fire & Rescue Services, and Emergency Medical Services (EMS) were all requested at a crash that blocked Interstate 270.
Investigations surrounding the collision show that several vehicles blocked southbound Interstate 270, just south of Montrose Road, after colliding along the roadway for unknown reasons.
Multiple people involved in the crash were injured. MCRFS EMS evaluated several people at the scene of the crash. At least two victims were rushed to an area hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
The police in Montgomery County are currently investigating the wreck.
