Annapolis, MD (May 9, 2022) – A multi-vehicle wreck in Annapolis left multiple victims injured on Sunday evening, May 8. At 6:20 p.m., the Maryland State Police was dispatched to a call for assistance at a crash that occurred on Route 50.

Reports from authorities show that a total of five vehicles crashed on US Route 50 near Whitehall Road. The crash blocked multiple eastbound lanes, prompting the state police to close all of the lanes on the road while cleaning.

A total of six people suffered injuries due to this crash. Emergency medical services provided medical treatment to the injured parties. The victims were then transported to nearby hospitals for further care.

The crash is under investigation by the Maryland State Police at this time.
