Bethesda, MD (May 11, 2022) – A pedestrian accident that occurred in the Bethesda/Glen Echo area sent one person to a local hospital with severe injuries. At around 5:30 p.m., on May 10, the Montgomery County Police Department and firefighters were notified that an auto crash occurred in front of the Passion Fin Bistro located on Sangamore Road.

Montgomery County Police Department reports indicate that an adult pedestrian was traveling in front of the Passion Fin Bistro, located in the 4600 block of Sagamore Road when they were struck by a motor vehicle. The crash cost some disruptions near Brookes Lane.

The police assisted the Montgomery County Fire & Rescue Services at the scene of the crash. Police and firefighters closed off the intersection as medical personnel provided aid to the victim.

The pedestrian suffered from priority one traumatic injuries due to this crash and was rushed to a local hospital by MCFRS EMS.

The police in Montgomery County are currently investigating the crash.
