Gaithersburg, MD – Five Injured in Auto Wreck at Woodfield Rd & Augusta Farm Ln
Gaithersburg, MD (May 15, 2022) – Several people were left injured due to a crash that occurred in Gaithersburg on Saturday, May 14. Just after 1:20 p.m., the police, firefighters, and EMS were all notified that a major head-on crash occurred on Woodfield Road that required assistance.
Reports from the Montgomery County Fire & Rescue Services show that a black SUV and a light-colored sedan collided head-on on Woodfield Road near Augusta Farm Lane. The incident left both vehicles with significant damage.
Three people sustained traumatic injuries as a result of the accident. Two other people sustained serious, not non-life-threatening injuries. The five victims were transported to local hospitals for further care.
At this time, the incident remains under investigation.
