Germantown, MD – Bicyclist Struck by Vehicle at Mateny Rd & Great Seneca Highway
Germantown, MD (May 16, 2022) – A motor vehicle accident that took place in the Germantown area has left one person injured. At around 12:30 p.m., on May 15, the police, firefighters, and emergency crews in Montgomery County were dispatched to a crash on Mateny Road.
Reports from the Montgomery County Fire & Rescue Services show that an adult was riding a bicycle in the area of Mateny Road and Great Seneca Highway. For unknown reasons, they were struck by a vehicle.
The bicyclist sustained injuries in the accident and was transported to a nearby hospital where they underwent medical treatment.
The Montgomery County Police Department is currently investigating the crash.
