Bethesda, MD – One Injured in Bicycle Crash on MacArthur Blvd near Sangamore Rd
Bethesda, MD (May 18, 2022) – Authorities were dispatched to a crash that took place in the Bethesda/Brookmont area that ended in injuries. Just before 9:45 a.m., on May 17, the Montgomery County Police Department and firefighters were sent to a crash that blocked MacArthur Boulevard.
Reports from MCPD show that a bicyclist was struck by a passing vehicle on MacArthur Boulevard near Sangamore Road. The bicyclist sustained injuries due to the collision.
The Montgomery County Fire & Rescue Services EMS responded to the scene to treat the victim for their injuries.
At this time, the police in Montgomery County are conducting a crash investigation to determine the cause of the incident.
