Rockville, MD – Bicyclist Struck by Vehicle on E Gude Dr near Southlawn Ln
Rockville, MD (May 19, 2022) – A motor vehicle accident took place in the Rockville area that ended in injuries. At around 230 p.m., on May 18, the Montgomery County Police Department and Montgomery County Fire & Rescue Services responded to the site auto accident and the Habitat for Humanity store located on East Gude Drive.
Reports from authorities show that an adult bicyclist was traveling in the 1000 block of East Gude Drive. For unknown reasons, they were struck by a vehicle near Southlawn Lane.
The bicyclist sustained injuries as a result of the accident. Emergency medical services provided treatment to the rider at the scene. The victim was then transported to a local hospital where they underwent further medical treatment.
At this time, the police department in Montgomery County is investigating the crash.
