Motorcycle Accidents in Maryland
Motor vehicle accidents in the state of Maryland leave tens of thousands of people injured every year. In some instances, victims are utilizing motorcycles at the time of their crashes. When motorcyclists are involved in accidents, they are more likely to suffer severe injuries due to the fact that they have little more than helmets to protect them during crashes. As a result, these victims are more likely to suffer from severe spinal cord injuries, broken bones, and traumatic brain injuries. When motorcyclists travel the roadway, it is important the other drivers nearby are careful and considerate of these and other drivers. Unfortunately, we see a significant number of motorcyclists suffer severe injuries and accidents due to the negligence of drivers. When drivers change lanes without looking, run red lights, or engage in other reckless and negligent actions, they place the lives of motorcyclists at risk.
