Gaithersburg, MD – Motorcycle Crash with Injuries Reported at Goshen Rd & Wightman Rd
Gaithersburg, MD (May 30, 2022) – A crash that took place in the Gaithersburg area on Saturday evening left two people injured. Just before 9:30 p.m., on May 28, the Montgomery County Police Department, Montgomery County Fire & Rescue Services, and EMS responded to a motor vehicle crash that occurred on Goshen Road.
According to accident reports, a motorcycle in a sedan collided on Goshen Road near Wightman Road during the evening hours. The involved vehicle sustained moderate damage due to the collision.
MCFRS and MCPD closed off the roadway as they work to clear the scene.
MCFRS EMS rendered aid to victims at the scene. One adult victim suffered traumatic injuries and was rushed to a local hospital. A second victim was also injured.
The circumstances surrounding the crash are currently under investigation by the police department in Montgomery County.
