Bethesda, MD – Bus Crash on Old Georgetown Rd near Glenbrook Rd Leaves Three Injured
Bethesda, MD (June 4, 2022) – A motor vehicle accident reported in Bethesda left multiple people injured. Just before 630 p.m., on June 3, the Montgomery County Police Department and firefighters responded to the scene of a motor vehicle accident that took place on Old Georgetown Road.
Reports from MCPD indicate that a Metro bus and a passenger vehicle collided on Old Georgetown Road in the area of Glenbrook Road. The incident caused some delays throughout the area as the police and the Montgomery County Fire & Rescue Services closed off the roadway to clear the scene.
A total of three victims were treated for injuries at the scene. EMS transported those in need of further care to area hospitals.
The circumstances surrounding the crash are under investigation by the MCPD.
