Gaithersburg, MD – Several Injured in Crash with Ejection on Frederick Rd near Wheatfield Dr
Gaithersburg, MD (June 12, 2022) – A major collision took place in the Gaithersburg area late Thursday evening that left several people injured. At around 11:40 p.m., on June 9, the Montgomery County Police Department and the Montgomery County Fire were dispatched to the scene of a crash that occurred on Frederick Road. & Rescue Services were dispatched to the scene of a motor vehicle accident on Frederick Road.
Reports from authorities show that a collision between vehicles occurred on Frederick Road near Wheatfield Drive. At least one person was ejected from their vehicle. Medical personnel responded to the scene and treated several trauma patients for injuries.
The crash caused delays between plumber Drive and professional Drive as emergency crews blocked off the roadway to clear the scene.
Multiple victims were transported to area hospitals for medical attention. At least one of the adult victims suffered priority one traumatic injuries.
At this time, the incident remains under investigation.
