Cloverly, MD – Pedestrian Struck by Vehicle, Injured on Norwood Rd near Bryant’s Nursery Rd
Cloverly, MD (June 15, 2022) – A pedestrian accident reported in the Cloverly area sent one adult victim to a local hospital with traumatic injuries. At around 11:13 a.m., on June 13, the Montgomery County Police Department and firefighters were dispatched to the scene of a motor vehicle accident on Norwood Road.
Reports provided by the Montgomery County Fire & Rescue Services show that an adult pedestrian was walking near the James Herbert Lake high school on Norwood Road during the morning hours. For unknown reasons, the pedestrian was struck by a vehicle near Bryant’s Nursery Road.
The pedestrian sustained injuries as a result of the accident. MCFRS EMS responded to the site of the crash and rendered aid to the victim. The injured pedestrian was transported to an area hospital with priority two traumatic injuries.
The crash remains under investigation by the Montgomery County Police Department.
