District Heights, MD – Injuries Reported in MVA on I-495 near MD-4
District Heights, MD (June 17, 2022) – A motor vehicle accident reported in the District Heights area left at least one person injured. At around 5:12 a.m., on June 15, calls for assistance came in surrounding an auto accident on Interstate 495.
Reports from local authorities show that a collision between vehicles blocked the outer loops of Interstate 495 in the area of Maryland State Route 4. The crash prompted the Maryland State Police and firefighters to close the left side of the roadway as they worked to clear the blocked lanes.
Medical personnel responded to treat victims who suffered injuries due to this crash. Those in need of further assistance were transported by ambulance from the scene.
