Damascus, MD – Pedestrian Injured in Crash on Woodfield Rd near Clearspring Rd
Damascus, MD (June 22, 2022) – A motor vehicle accident reported in the Damascus area ended in injuries. At around 6:28 p.m., on June 20, emergency crews were dispatched to the scene of an auto accident on Woodfield Road.
Reports from local authorities show that a pedestrian was struck by a vehicle on Woodfield Road in the area of Clearspring Road during the evening hours. The Montgomery County Police Department and firefighters closed off a portion of the roadway as they worked to clear the scene.
The Montgomery County Fire & Rescue Services EMS rendered aid to the victim on-site before transporting them to a nearby hospital for further medical care.
At this time, the incident remains under investigation.
