Wheaton-Glenmont, MD – Car Crash with Injuries Reported on Connecticut Ave near Dean Rd
Wheaton-Glenmont, MD (June 24, 2022) – An auto wreck reported in the Wheaton-Glenmont area ended in injuries. At around 12:18 p.m., on June 22, emergency crews were dispatched to the scene of a crash on Connecticut Avenue.
Reports from local authorities show that a collision between a tractor-trailer and a second vehicle took place on Connecticut Avenue in the area of Dean Road. The impact of the crash left both vehicles with significant damage and off the roadway. The semi-truck rolled over and came to rest on its side while the second vehicle, a red sedan, came to rest off the roadway.
One person was extricated from their vehicle. Medics rendered aid to the victims. At least one person was transported by Montgomery County Fire & Rescue Service EMS to a local hospital for further care.
