Hillandale, MD – Pedestrian Struck by Vehicle on New Hampshire Ave near Overlook Dr
Hillandale, MD (June 26, 2022) – A pedestrian accident reported in Montgomery County on Saturday evening left one person injured. Just before 11:45 p.m., on June 25, calls for assistance came in surrounding a crash on New Hampshire Avenue.
Reports from the Montgomery County Police Department show that an adult pedestrian was walking in front of the 7-11 Store, located in the 10200 block of New Hampshire Avenue. For unknown reasons, they were struck by a vehicle.
The police closed off New Hampshire Avenue in the area of Overlook Drive as they worked to clear the scene.
The victim was provided treatment on-site. The pedestrian was then transported by Montgomery County Fire & Rescue Service EMS to a local hospital for the treatment of priority one traumatic injuries.
The crash remains under investigation at this time.
