Bethesda, MD – Two-Vehicle Crash on Tuckerman Ln near Westlake Dr Ends in Injuries & Entrapment
Bethesda, MD (July 2, 2022) – A motor vehicle accident reported in the Bethesda area left at least one person injured. At around 5:45 p.m., on July 1, emergency crews were notified that it crashed place on Tuckerman Lane.
Reports provided by the Montgomery County Police Department indicate that a crash between two vehicles occurred on Tuckerman Lane in the area of Westlake Drive. The crash resulted in entrapment. At least one person had to be extricated from their vehicle by responding firefighters.
The Montgomery County Police Department and Montgomery County Fire & Rescue Services closed off a portion of the roadway as they worked to clear the scene.
MCFRS EMS rendered aid to the victims at the scene of the accident. Those who required further treatment were transported by ambulance to area hospitals.
The circumstances surrounding the crash are currently under investigation.
