Germantown, MD – Injury Crash blocks Father Hurley Blvd near Germantown Rd
Germantown, MD (July 9, 2022) – A motor vehicle accident reported in the Germantown area resulted in injuries while causing significant delays in traffic throughout the area. At around 4:08 p.m., on July 8, the Montgomery County Police Department, firefighters, and EMS responded to the scene of the crash that occurred on Germantown Road.
Reports provided by authorities show that a collision between vehicles blocked several lanes of Germantown Road in the area of Father Hurley Boulevard. The incident caused significant delays in the area as the police and firefighters worked to clear the scene and restore the flow of traffic.
Medical personnel with the Montgomery County Fire & Rescue Services rendered aid to the injured victims before transporting them to area hospitals for further evaluation and care.
The crash remains under investigation by the police in Montgomery County at this time.
