Rockville, MD (July 12, 2022) – One person was hospitalized with significant injuries following a bicycle accident that took place in the Rockville area. At around 645 a.m., on July 11, emergency crews were notified that a motor vehicle accident took place on Bou Avenue.
Reports provided by local authorities indicate that a bicyclist was traveling in the area of Bou Avenue and Chapman Avenue during the morning hours. For unknown reasons, the bicyclist was struck by a passing vehicle.
The rider, identified as an adult victim, suffered traumatic injuries as a result of the accident. EMS transported the victim to a local hospital for emergency medical care.
