Aspen Hill, MD – Collision with Injuries Reported on Georgia Ave near Hewitt Ave
Aspen Hill, MD (July 13, 2022) – A motor vehicle accident occurred in the Aspen Hill area on Tuesday morning that ended in injuries. At around 8:45 a.m., on July 12, the Montgomery County Police Department, Montgomery County Fire & Rescue Services, and Emergency Medical Services were all dispatched to the scene of the crash on Georgia Avenue.
Reports provided by the police show that a collision between vehicles blocked several lanes of Georgia Avenue at the intersection of Hewitt Avenue. The police and firefighters blocked a portion of the roadway as they worked to remove vehicles and debris from the scene.
Medical personnel rendered aid to victims on-site before transporting them to local hospitals where they underwent further medical treatment for injuries.
