White Oak, MD – Pedestrian Struck & Injured on New Hampshire Ave near Lockwood Dr
White Oak, MD (July 15, 2022) – A motor vehicle accident involving a pedestrian left one teen injured. Just after 5:30 p.m. on July 14, the Montgomery County Police Department assisted firefighters at the scene of an accident that took place on New Hampshire Avenue.
Preliminary investigations provided by MCPD show that a team pedestrian was traveling through New Hampshire Avenue at the intersection of Lockwood Drive during the early evening hours. A vehicle traveling through the intersection struck the pedestrian for unknown reasons.
The Montgomery County Fire & Rescue Services EMS team responded to the side of the cross to render aid to the victim.
The injured team pedestrian was then transported to a local hospital by ambulance where they underwent further medical care.
The police department is currently investigating to determine why this accident occurred.
