Hillandale, MD – Auto-Pedestrian Crash on Elton Rd near New Hampshire Ave Sends One to Hospital
Hillandale, MD (July 16, 2022) – One person was transported to a nearby hospital for treatment of injuries following a pedestrian crash in the Hillandale area. At around 10:40 a.m., on July 15, the Montgomery County Police Department and area firefighters were notified that a collision required assistance on Elton Road.
Reports provided by the Montgomery County Fire & Rescue Services show that a pedestrian was struck by a vehicle in the vicinity of Elton Road and New Hampshire Avenue.
The police and firefighters closed off a portion of the road as MCFRS EMS rendered aid to the injured party. The pedestrian was then transported to a nearby hospital by EMS for further medical treatment.
The MCPD is conducting an investigation into the crash.
