Bethesda, MD – Three-Vehicle Collision Reported on I-495 near Connecticut Ave
Bethesda, MD (July 17, 2022) – At least one victim was transported to a nearby hospital following a multi-vehicle wreck in the Bethesda area on Saturday evening, July 16.
Just after 6:50 p.m., authorities were notified that an auto collisihad on occurred on Interstate 495. The Montgomery County Police Department was summoned to the scene, where they immediately blocked the outer loop of the interstate just before Connecticut Avenue.
Three vehicles were located at the scene of the crash, all suffering from damage due to the crash.
Emergency Medical Service workers with the Montgomery County Fire & Rescue Services rendered aid to injured victims on-site prior to transporting them to local hospitals for further treatment.
The crash remains under investigation by MCPD at this time.
