Braddock Heights, MD – One Injured in Auto Wreck on I-70 near MM 46
Braddock Heights, MD (July 19, 2022) – One person suffered injuries following a crash in Frederick County on Monday evening. Just before 5 p.m., on July 18, the Maryland state police and area firefighters were called to a crash that occurred in Braddock Heights.
Reports from the police show that a crash blocked the westbound side of Interstate 70 near mile marker 46 during the evening hours. Frederick County EMS responded to the scene to provide medical treatment to victims who suffered injuries as a result of the accident.
Area firefighters assisted the police in closing off several lanes on the westbound side of the interstate as they worked to allow through traffic.
Medics provided injured victims with transportation to area medical centers for further treatment of injuries.
The crash is under investigation at this time by officials in Frederick County.
