Silver Spring, MD – One Injured in Motorcycle Crash on University Blvd & Brunette Ave
Silver Spring, MD (July 21, 2022) – A motorcycle accident in Montgomery County left one person severely injured. Just before 6 p.m., on July 20, the Montgomery County Police Department and firefighters were dispatched to a crash that occurred on brunette Avenue.
Reports provided by the Montgomery County Fire & Rescue Services show that a motorcycle and an unknown number of additional vehicles collided on brunette Avenue in the area near University Boulevard West. The Montgomery County Police Department and firefighters blocked off multiple lanes at the intersection while tending to the scene.
One person involved in the crash suffered from significant injuries. MCFRS EMS provided medical treatment to one adult victim before transporting them to a nearby hospital for the treatment of traumatic injuries.
The Montgomery County Police Department is initiating an investigation into the accident.
