Linthicum, MD–Fatal Crash on I-695 near N Hammonds Ferry Rd Takes Life
Linthicum, MD (July 27, 2022) – A 90-year-old man from Baltimore has lost his life following a crash that took place in Linthicum. Reports provided by the Anne Arundel County Police show that a man was driving a vehicle on Interstate 695 during the afternoon hours on July 25.
As the vehicle exited the interstate, it became involved in a collision with a Mercedes in the area of North Hammonds Ferry Road. The Anne Arundel County Police Department responded to the crash and blocked off a portion of the roadway while assisting involved parties at the scene.
The driver of the Mercedes, a 55-year-old, was uninjured in the accident.
The second driver involved in the accident, a 90-year-old man, was fatally injured due to the crash. He was pronounced deceased at the scene.
Investigations into the crash are ongoing by the Anne Arundel County Police Department at this time.
