Bel Air, MD – One Injured in Two-Vehicle Auto Wreck on Route 22
Bel Air, MD (July 29, 2022) – The Bel Air Volunteer Fire Company responded to a major crash on Wednesday afternoon that ended in injuries. At around 1:45 p.m., on July 27, calls came in requesting assistance at the scene of an auto accident on Route 22.
Reports from the BAVFD show that a dark-red SUV and a white sedan collided on Maryland State Route 22 during the afternoon hours. Emergency crews responded to the scene and closed off a large section of the roadway as they tended to victims.
One person inside the sedan suffered injuries as a result of the crash. The victim was transported by ambulance to a nearby medical facility, where they underwent emergency medical care.
The crash is under investigation at this time by the police in Bel Air.
