Columbia, MD – Man on Skateboard Killed in Auto Wreck on Snowden River Parkway near Oakland Mills Rd
Columbia, MD (July 30, 2022) – A traffic accident reported in the Columbia area claimed one man’s life. Just before 6 a.m., on July 28, emergency crews in Columbia were called to the scene of a crash that occurred on Snowden River Parkway.
The Howard County Police Department reported that a 32-year-old man was riding a skateboard on Snowden River Parkway. For unknown reasons, he was struck by a Volkswagen Jetta just south of Oakland Mills Road.
The skateboarder suffered fatal injuries due to this motor vehicle crash. He was pronounced deceased at the scene.
The Howard County Police Department is conducting an investigation into the crash at this time.
